Mielu Terms of Use

Note: the domain www.mieluapp.com is planned; these terms will be published there once it is live.

1. The service

Mielu is an app for couples: each day there is one question, each person answers on their own, and the answers open once both of you have answered. It also includes games, activities, a shared book ("Nuestro libro") and reminders. The provider is Tomer Hirschmann, sole trader (tomer.hirschmann2@gmail.com).

2. Eligibility

You must be 17 or older. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the capacity to accept these terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in (email or Apple) secure. The information you give must be truthful. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Mielu to harass, threaten or pressure another person, for illegal content, to impersonate others, to breach the security of the service or to extract data by automated means. You must respect your partner's privacy: Mielu is for voluntary sharing. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and upload (answers, comments, photos). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence solely to host, process and display that content in order to operate the service, including showing it to your partner under the app's rules. We do not use it for other purposes or sell it. AI features apply only with the consent described in the privacy policy.

6. Couple mechanics

Each person's answers become visible to their partner once you have both answered that question. Shared content (such as the book) belongs to the couple jointly. Picante mode is only enabled if both of you accept it. If one of you deletes their account, their personal data is erased as set out in the privacy policy.

7. Subscription and payments

8. Not therapy or professional advice

Mielu is an entertainment and conversation product for couples. It is not therapy and not medical, psychological, legal or any other professional advice, and it does not replace a professional. If your relationship is going through a hard time, or you experience violence or distress, seek professional help; in Spain, 016 supports victims of gender violence and 112 is the emergency number. AI-generated text is for guidance only and may be inaccurate.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running normally, but it is provided "as is": there may be interruptions, maintenance or changes to features. We may change or withdraw parts of the service, with notice where reasonable.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data or content caused by events beyond our reasonable control, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here excludes or limits the mandatory rights you hold as a consumer under Spanish law (including the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users), nor liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury.

11. Termination

You may stop using Mielu and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or the law, giving notice where possible. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel your Apple subscription: cancel it separately.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; we will show the date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service after notice means you accept them, without prejudice to your consumer rights.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer you keep the rights given by the mandatory rules of your country of habitual residence and may go to the courts that apply to you.
